‘Recycle and Conserve’ Our Money

With the cries to get people involving in ‘Go-Green’ movement getting louder and louder nowadays, Great Eastern Life has launched one saving plan that enables people to RECYCLE MONEY, meanwhile, it also CONSERVE our money.

How do we recycle our money? Does this sound absurd at the first hearing? Not at all, this is the mechanism that explains the hw.

Example illustrated by Miss V, age 24 yr-old, who has decided to recycle her money and conserve her money, in order to make this plan work, Miss V will put aside RM 200 each month as saving for her retirement fund; this saving plan has a time horizon of 30 years.

For 30 years, Miss V would each month put aside RM 200 thanks to her disciplinary determination, so after 30 years, Miss V will have saved RM 72,000 into her retirement fund, right?
This plan will recycle Miss V money by giving Miss V RM 3675.4 in every two year, which means that in that 30 years of time, Miss V will have received RM 3675.4 x 15 times = RM 55,131, the amount of money that been recycled to Miss V, so far so good right?
At the end of the day, when Miss V retires30 years later, She will receive RM 60,400 as retirement fund, this is the money that has been conserved.

Look at the Gloss total of money Miss V has
saved aside, RM 72,000;
received ( Recycled Money), RM 55,131.00
               ( Conserved Money), RM 60,400.00
Total Received : RM 115,531.00
Projected Interest Rate : 5.34 % p.a, isn’t this more attractive than the conventional saving plan,

In these days we find that we need to have more cash in hand, but we are also spending the cash in hand because we find that there’re things that we must spend money for, hence, with this attractive and lucrative plan, we can have a way to recycle our money, as well as conserving it to realize our financial dream.

in this one year time-frame, these are the mind-conditioners I’ve allowed myself to indulged into. But wait a minute, I have had the power to obtained these books with pride, but I also have to leave year 2008 with remorse as I could not finished every single one before I wave goodbye to year 2008.

 

 

With my handicapped reading ability and level of understanding, I could not have gone further than finished reading these…

Curiosity has spurred me to evaluate the worth of these reading materials, and a click on calculator has indicated a sensational figure of RM 1036, that’s lots of penny, but is worthy~

 

I still remember when I walked into year 2008, I had an objective of completing a fictional book monthly, and it had been the case for the first 3 months, later I adjusted to at least one book per month, including non-fictions, which I think would be more important and vital for my growth, and I guess if I could be more focused I would have finished every single book I’ve now.

Waving Good Bye to the departing year 2008, and along with it, the Me in year 2008~

Being thankful for all the going-on that had brought me one step closer to my year-long objectives, and also not forgetting to appreciate all the obstacles that sent me further off-tracks as these would become my well-learnt lessons that enable me to be more focus in the coming year.

 

Winking pleasantly to the arriving year 2009, which I foresee will be filled with prosperity and serenity.

 

I’ve done much wrongs in year 2008, I’ve been true to myself and I also have betrayed myself, obstacles and circumstances have been harsh at times but in the wake of time I have been hit to awake and realize that everything happened as a consequences to my own choice, and I have decided to kick start year 2009 with the end in mind~

G0-Green by saving money for future

Go Green is the trend that is being widely accepted and promoted by all kinds of people, no matter who you are, where you live, or what you do, because we are all becoming more and more aware of the condition in which the planet we live call earth is getting worse courtesy to the by-product of human evolution and revolution..

Today, we can even start to save our money with programme launched by Great Eastern Life to contribute to the well-being of our beloved planet, earth!

An impressive saving plan namely Great Multicash, is a programe aimed to promote ‘GO-Green’, as well as to promote proper and good saving habit to allow one to realize financial goal.

As an simple yet realistic example, Mr N, age 25, decides to contribute to the environment today by signing up this saving plan, would save RM 2400 per year into this account, in order to prepare retirement fund for 30 years later. In participating in this plan, Mr. N would have to put RM2400 into this account for 23 years, and when the 30th year arrive, Mr. N would harness his retirement fund figured around RM 126,222.00.

Taking a closer look at this scenario, it means Mr N has saved into this account RM 55,200.00. In case catastrophe befalls onto Mr. N inside this 30 year time frame, Great Eastern Life would take over the responsibility of saving RM 2400 from Mr N, and Mr N would still get the big sum of money in the 30-th year.

So how does Mr N contribute to the environment?
Easy.

The company would put aside a certain percentage of money as corporate social responsibility to contribute and do funding for events that promote ‘Go-Green’, and it is in this way we give our contribution to the environment, because two is always better than one, and by having a pool of fund, we can contribute more than if we were to do that alone.

美事（食）回顾更添回味

这一个星期内吃了好多平时都鲜少吃到的食物，不错，不错的~

上个星期四，
Brunch因为和战友们跑到RedBox演绎歌喉，有幸品尝了RedBox的不知什么命名的墨西哥食物，还是不错~
晚餐呢，多得“仙女指路”，我的焦点被扩大，发现了Steven’s Corner 餐牌上的另一美食——好吃的Steven’s Mee Konloo Sotong~ 也不会忘了那平凡的‘木她把’。。。

星期五早餐好像只是吞了那两粒烧卖，然后到了晚上，跑到Manhattan Fish Market MFM,阔别两年半的鱼餐，那一晚终于能够再一次满足到食欲了~ 可惜我的Calamari Ring Pasta 只在餐牌不在餐台，不然更加美妙！

星期六星期日吃了什么，现在苦苦思忆还是想不起，但是我肯定有喝到了怀念将近一年的SS2 Murni’s Honeydew Special，过后还吃了近来爱上的的麦粥。

星期一就够丰富了~
除了在大东方大厦那一碟五块二的饭，我还吃了晚餐，而这晚餐就是终点的重点。Sushi Groove 的圣诞节套餐真的是吃到会叫饱，而且真的是一分钱换一分货，虽然它的绿茶不太冷，但是它的X’mas Roll 和 Chicken Teriyaki Roll were really fantastic!

过后还有一个机会咬了两个Big Apple dougnut 两口（一件咬一口），虽然觉得okay,但还是不明白为何它可以买到那么高身价

星期二更够力！ 
早餐在sunway pyramid 吃了韩国餐，昨日日本餐，今日韩国餐，只可惜原本要去的Zen（善）的开门时间不够我们早，不然就可以旧地重游了。韩国餐还是嘛嘛地吧了，还是本人对韩国就是有偏见。
还有HighTea~
Petaling stree’s 大块面 x 2 + 一流一流（圆滑滑）的果香麻芝，
配上晚上在Souled-Out 的 Chicken Gordon’Blurrr’,complemented by the special sauce obatained from Jerk Style Snappe, Everything was made great~
有HighTea 还不算厉害，后来还在夜半时刻跑到明天交了一煲深海鳕鱼生片粥，但是不是要吃粥（所以我没吃到粥），只是要粥来让我的油炸桧不会生硬而已，喝了一杯茶，回到家立刻沉淀在梦海。。。

现在，
刚刚在旧街场白咖啡吃了一碗热热的虾面，要离去了。。。

Time waits, for no OnE

I have come to liked a phrase that read like this lately :

It is not that regretful that when you are well prepared but do not have the opportunity;
But it is most regretful that when you have the opportunity but you are not well prepared.

 

This phrase has really made lots of senses to my ever absorbing brain cells and it hit home to the very root of my conscience.

I would think that there are 3 types of decision making in realm of life.

People who are in the first class are peeps who make things happen and act by taking initiative.
People who dwell in the 2nd class are those who wait for somethings to happen, who wait for people to tell them what to do, wait for people to show them what to do.
Pitty are them who settle for the final class, who are people who just sit there and wonder what have happened, these are people that  let time made the decision for them, with the harsh side of the reality meaning opportunity would then be gone when time made the decision for them.

Opportunity are like waves.
They come to our doorstep without any signs, without the faintest of hints, and they also leave without leaving any traces, without giving any warnings before their leavings. So are the same for events and people which have come into our life, at this very moment as we are speaking.

We have no devices, at least up to this moment we have not had any highly sophisticated devices that would help us to detect and determine when the people around us would still be around us, there are people whom we wish we could keep near to us most of the time, there are also people whom we do not know or wished not to know, what the common link here is that, we are all unsure when these people would be gone someday, we just know, some day, but, when will that someday be, we all do not know, at least for now.

Take initiative to love and appreciate them,
or
Let people decide for us if one day they will not be around us anymore,
or
let time and events steal away what are precious to us?

Like opportunity, People come, people go. Learn to accept people around you and appreciate them and what they have given for your story would be what i want to do now.

Mind Mastery is Fate Mastery

“Our Mind does not know what is Real, what is Not”

It has been for ages that scientists and those high elites people are getting their head so immensely drown in doing research on our mind, the most powerful and wonderful asset we have as a human.

It is now massively being believed that our mind is the ‘tool’ for us to achive whatever we can imagine and conceive, or construct with it. To begin with a picture in our mind is the very first step to achieving and establishing a certain outcome, the potential for the mind image to be turned into reality is always there, if we have the persistance and patience to hold the image strong enough and long enough.

Sometimes, even though we did not begin to imagine or think of something which is not in existance now consciously, our mind could somehow generate a certain image for us, have you not experienced ‘deja vu’? have you not been telling yourself, ‘eh, i think i have been through this scene’ sometimes? Have you not felt as if something you are going through now had happened before? Have you not felt something was so familar to you but yet you could not recall where and when you have went through this experiences? This is deja vu. And it is not merely by chance. Our mind has flashed us this image before but it was not strong and vivid enough for us to capture and remember the image, until it really happened, we recalled it with sound of ‘ i know this!’. Most of the time, i think if we would bother to get a hold and grow the image, then everything would go on in a much better way. An idea would not have just flashed acrossed our mind, but created by the subconscious mind, grabbed by our conscious mind, grow and act upon it by our conscious mind, and the outcome is tasted by us, the master of our mind!

We should learn to master the behavior of our powerful mind and get a hold on it with the conscious part, for the subconscious part is really the powerful and dangerous part, say the wrong word or instill a wrong belief into your subconscious mind, and your life could be ruined for good, yeah, for good! There are people who are so successful out there, and after intensive researches and interviews with these people, we often find that they actually have come from a much poorer backgrounds, they did not have the best life in their past, they were not born with a silver spoon in their mouth, they were not that resourcefull, but the wealth in them is actually their mind, how they think.

Our subconscious mind is very wonderful. Spend some time to understand the potential of utilizing it and you could reap a lot more return from this effort.

In a nut shell,
What we believe shapes our thoughts,
what we think determine how we act,
What we do form our characters,
Our characters influent our Fate,
Hey, wait, Our Fate is our life!
If you want to change your life, what should you change now?
Change your beliefs, change not yourself, but only your beliefs!

How NOT TO BE a Millionaire

That’s a great news! You should stop reading right now for i will not be held responsible for what is about to unwind. It could get pretty depressing.

So, with your first pay check, you think you needed a car now.

Welcome to the world of debt repayments, road tax, auto insurance, ever increasing fuel, sky-high parking fees, tolls, traffic offences, maintenance fees and those occasional, completely unavoidable little accidents that seem to happen when you are replying to ‘important and pressing’ phone calls, you know, things like that.

Living in your prime time, you begin to think luxury is something you should go after and make it your brand. So, indulgences in things, and also probably on your hobbies, getting your collectible items, partying, entertainments, outings with your close pals, clothes, etc. Everything is insignificant when it comes to taking care of the most important thing in your life, YOU~

Bargains are irresistible. Even normal priced items cannot be denied their place of consideration. And we all have an urge to shop and buy stuffs, it doesn’t matter for what, but it is in our genetics.

Then, you realize you would need a dream house now. You move out. You rent that dream single’s pad. you fill it with minimalist designer furniture. You make sure its completely air-conditioned, you invest in a proper kitchen even if you do not know how to cook.

One day you wake up and you curse everyone, because you are now officially bankrupt. You were merely broke few paragraphs ago. You wish that you could turn back time and plan your money and manage your money in a smarter way.

Perception and Paradigm

I came across this line saying : human are individual, we come to this world as an individual, then we grow up as an individual, therefore we face challenges as an individual, if supports are there then it would be great, but however it is not necessary for us who are individual to need any support because at the end of the day, we are individual.

Literally it also could mean: we come here alone, we live on alone, we wander alone in this wild wild world, we need to go on alone, even if there’re company, we can decline as we came here alone, so we should choose to go on alone.In a nut shell, we are alone.

It sounds perfectly right to say we all are an individual, after all, we all are units that make up this complex world. But, i do not quite see how we all have no dependency on other thing in this world.

We all are individual who live in a world that is interconnected and interdependent to other individuals that exist in this universe, including other elements such as air, trees, foods, waters etc.

In fact, i would think that it is more humble way and more cheerful way to express this line in this way:

“we all are individual, because we are brought to this world as an individual(it took a sperm n ovum to produce every individual, but we did not ‘come to this world’), we grow up as an individual under the roof of our family(teachings, food, memories, learning etc came from here), we laugh as an individual because we have had friends who treat us as an individual and respect us as an individual(friends are where our comfort zone lies when we were going up from our time and friends would be the people who made us understand ourselves and learn from), our life is not supported by individualism because this world has everything that connects to us from the very first day of our birth.To look at it from this point of view is more like a view of abundance, but not restircted and pessimism.
Cherish the people and the going-on around us, and we will be able to see light coming from more sources.
